Nicolai II

Mechanical chronograph - hand winding

The personality of Tsar Nicolai II. is steeped in legends and contradictions. However, there is one thing historians have no doubt about: he was a highly educated and good-natured man who loved his family and Russia from the bottom of his heart. In August 2000, Nicolai II., his wife Alexandra Fedorovna (who was a descendant of the German nobility of Hessen-Darmstadt) and their five children were canonised by the Russian Orthodox Church. In memory of Tsar “Nicolai II.” was created this model series with rose gold cases.

The quality standard of the watch emphasises its historical weight: – it features a silver dial with subtle Roman numerals and the image of a tsar crown and blue skeleton-like hands. The watch has a refined chronometer movement, partly gold plated, which can be seen through the sapphire glass back. The automatic watch commemorates the ceremonial performances as well as the daily life of this last Russian Tsar of the Romanov dynasty.
