KIROVSKY SPECIAL

Due to the great popularity among watch lovers, the model “Kirovsky” now comes in a special new edition as a “Special” in a very small number of pieces in our online store.

The design of this exceptional watch was very closely based on the original from the 40s, but this model is in a smaller case with a diameter of 40 mm, smaller than its historical predecessor. A white mother-of-pearl dial with a turquoise inner bezel sets the unusual tone, matching the blued hands that have luminous paint. This makes it easy to read the time even in the dark.

Inside the watch ticks a Vostok automatic movement, caliber 2415 with off-center seconds at 9 o’clock. To be able to set the seconds position to the 9 o’clock position, as on the original, the crown was placed on the case at 2 o’clock. Thus, the movement was turned counterclockwise. The rotor of the movement has Geneva stripes and the screws are blued.

The lugs for the bracelet were also modeled after the original, but technical modernizations were made here as well. To be able to change the strap, only one screw in the front part of the lugs has to be loosened. The bracelet has remained as it was in the 40s. It is decorated with two steel buttons, as well as the logo of the brand “Poljot-International”. What distinguishes this model and definitely differentiates it from its predecessors is the exceptionally chosen color of the leather strap. The black calfskin strap with contrast stitching and turquoise accents is particularly fresh to look at on the wrist.
