The first automatic skeleton “Hermitage” is inspired by the Hermitage Museum of Art and Culture in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is the second largest art museum in the world, which was founded in 1764 and houses a large collection of rich and historical buildings and art of Russian emperors.
Those works of art formed the inspiration behind the design of this automatic watch: classic & artistic skeleton features a mix of traditional arabesques, as well as round and curved shapes. The rings located in the center of the watch, reveal a glimpse of the balance wheel and barrel, which are completed by skeletonized rotors.
The mix of silver and beige elements give the skeleton a traditional, yet timeless character – just like the timeless artwork of the Hermitage Museum.
This version of the very high quality finished automatic model comes with a brown calfskin strap and has an unmistakable charisma that comes out the first time you wear the watch.
